Ferry & Boat Cruises
Mackinac Island’s location allows visitors the opportunity to ride to the Island in unique style on one of the two ferry boat companies that service the Island from both St. Ignace and Mackinaw City. Each company offers discount tickets for wedding groups that you can send to your guests ahead of time to use when coming to the Island. Boat cruises that take you and your guests for a memorable view of the Mighty Mackinac Bridge are also available and quite enjoyable.
Ferries run every half hour daily from Memorial Day until Labor Day with a later night boat schedule available on weekends. A less frequent schedule applies in the Spring and Fall so be sure to check for exact times closer to your event. Schedules can be viewed on your smart phone if you're on the go.
